In this short video, you can hear the sound a kiwi makes. First listen carefully to the sound in the clip. After you have watched the video, your teacher will play you a range of bird calls from other New Zealand birds from the link below.
Close your eyes and see if you can recognise the kiwi call.

Video Four: Kiwi Bird Feeding
In this video a kiwi is searching for food. Have a look at it's habitat and where it is searching, then brainstorm a list of foods that may be in the kiwi diet. Check your list against the information in the wesite below. Add anything you missed out to your list.
